The city railways will have a modern structure with GAZIRAY Project, the foundations of which were laid in April 2018, which will serve between Başpınar and Oduncular districts in Gaziantep.

The infrastructure will be upgraded and the traffic capacity will become far better sufficient for High Speed ​​Train, Conventional Train and Suburban operations.

Ulusoy Railway Systems products have been preferred in the electrification works of this major project of the region.

Within the scope of the Gaziray Project, a total of 112 km of new railways, including 2 suburban lines and 2 high-speed train lines, are being built within a route of 25.5 km.

When the project is completed, the travel time between Başpınar and Oduncular will decrease to 30 minutes and will serve 358 thousand commuters per day by trains.
